  1. Goal : We had a clear objective.
  2. Leadership : At 23 year I was not in position of telling others how to do. All I can do was lead by example. We were selft managing
  3. Culture When new staff came in, we'd focus on team culture and introduce 2 or 2 new people at a time. It created trust and courage as a core group
  4. Continual improvement. It was like retrospective.
  5. Transparency Nothing was hidden. The entire operation, kitchen, dishes etc could be viewed by public
  6. Rapid experimentation
  7. Fun

The fist thing is to unlearn like Good management” was based on planning, hierarchy and control.

This approach risk, reduces responsiveness and results.

Autonomous team

Self management requires absence of traditional management and a light set of constraint. An iteration, sprint review and social contract.
